|Comments:||An aerogramme sent from Al-Ain in Abu Dhabi to Trelleborg in Sweden on the 19th December 1963. The aerogramme contains an order from a tire merchant in Al-Ain.
In those initial days aerogrammes were not officially issued and as such general format air letter sheets, like the “Apsley” were used.
At this time Al-Ain did not have a post office so the aerogramme had to be transported to Abu Dhabi first, from where it was posted onwards to Sweden.
