Story Behind the Cancellation: | A new bilingual canceller with the inscription of “ABU DHABI” in both English and Arabic was issued in 1970. It is the first and only machine canceller of Abu Dhabi.
Following the initial problems with the setting of the seven waves the correction was done and the correct impression appears as of the 3rd October 1970.
