Stamp Set	With the introduction of a postal service in Abu Dhabi and the opening of the Abu Dhabi Post Office on March 30th 1963 a decision on what stamps to sell had to be made. As the set of “Trucial States Stamps” was not put into use in Abu Dhabi it was decided to adapt the “Value Only” stamps until an issue of Abu Dhabi stamps could be prepared. The “Value Only” stamps, which were already in use at Das Island, were put on sale. A total of 11 values were put on sale and the values were 5 NP, 10 NP, 15 NP, 20 NP, 30 NP, 40 NP, 50 NP, 75 NP, 1 Rupee, 2 Rupees and 5 Rupees. Official First Day Covers were put on sale with the 11 values.
