[SUPERSIZE IMAGE]
Stamp SetTo commemorate the third anniversary of the accession of Sheikh Zayed, the postal department of Abu Dhabi issued a set of four postage stamps. The values issued were 35 Fils, 60 Fils, 125 Fils and 200 Fils.

Revenue from the oil fields had been steadily rising over the years and it was appropriate that this vital source of revenue should be given a place of pride on the postage stamps. Consequently, the general theme of this set became the petroleum industry.
