Stamp SetThe “Dome of the Rock” issue was the first set of stamps issued by Abu Dhabi following the formation of the United Arab Emirates. The stamps bear the inscription “Abu Dhabi – United Arab Emirates” in Arabic and as such it clearly denotes that these are the first stamps of the U.A.E. The values issued were 35 Fils, 60 Fils and 125 Fils.
